2008 CLUB RULES
1) It is the responsibility of all club members to be knowledgeable of the following rules and the 2007 IKF Rules and Regulations.
2) It is the responsibility of the club members to conduct themselves in a courteous and sportsman like manner.
3) It is the responsibility of all club members to keep the track and facilities clean and pick up after themselves.
4) It is the responsibility of all club members to actively attend club meetings and work parties.
5) It is the responsibility of all club members to participate in race duties such as corner flagging, registration, pit steward, scale judging, pre-tech, etc…
6) Events will be run rain or shine. If the Race Director declares a “Rain Race” the competitors will have 30 minutes to change their tires and setups for rain. Per Race Directors discretion, if the next group that is scheduled to run is ready, they will run while the previous group is changing their setups.
7) To be scored in any events at TCKC, karts must have an operating transponder attached.
8) Individual club race awards will be provided to all Kid Karts. The Senior Classes will receive awards for the top 3 positions and Junior Classes will receive awards based on entries – awards to the top ½ of Class minus 1. Senior Classes will receive plaques the first time they place in their respective class, after that point they will receive tags to attach to their plaque. Drivers must be a member of the TCKC to receive points and must race a minimum of 5 races per class to be eligible for year end awards in that class. Classes must average (3) competitors for the season to be eligible for a “Season Championship Jacket”.
9) There will be nine scheduled club point races for the 2007 race season with (2) throwaways. Any driver that is disqualified for the day for any reason, cannot use that race day as one of his/her throwaways.
10) Scoring Tower and Flagstand Access: DO NOT ENTER SCORING TOWER OR FLAGSTAND AREA. No one may enter the scoring tower or flagstand area during a race except the scorers, the race director, or his/her authorized representative. Violations of this rule WILL result in the disqualification of the driver (even if it is his/her director or his/her representative. THIS RULE WILL BE ENFORCED. Times, pole positions and race points will be posted as quickly as practical.
11) Racers must be club members to receive championship class points. Non-members may race and trophy, but will not accumulate points. Points will be awarded only to club members in the order that club members finish.
12) Race day and pit pass fees will be as follows:
a) Race Day Fees:
i) 1st Entry Fee $30.00 for TCKC members
$50.00 for non-members
ii) Additional entries - $15.00 for TCKC members
$20.00 for non-members.
iii) Pit Pass Armband - $ 5.00 (Everyone/Non Driver)
b) Practice Day Fees
i) Driver’s Pass -$10.00 for TCKC members
$25.00 for non-member
ii) Pit Pass - $ 5.00 (Everyone/Non Driver)
13) Yearly Tri City Kart Club membership dues will be as follows:
a) Family membership dues $125.00
b) Single membership dues $100.00
c) Membership applications can be obtained at the Annual Rules Meeting, at the track during registration, at club meetings, from any board member or on the TCKC web site (tckc.net). The TCKC Treasurer will maintain membership records and the official TCKC membership list. The Treasurer will ensure that proper practice/race fees will be charged.
14) Full season covered pit lease fees will be $25.00. Fees for pits not leased prior to the first club race may be pro-rated by the TCKC Board of Directors at their discretion. A covered pit lease entitles the lessee to use a designated pit for any/all practice sessions and races for the entire race season. Subleasing or renting of reserved pit space is strictly prohibited. Preferential selections of individual pits spaces will be given to members on first come first serve basis, although members who have leased space during the last season have the right of first refusal. Covered pit lease requests (new or renewed) and payments should be made to the TCKC Treasurer. Each leaseholder is responsible for keeping their pit area clean and safe. Any damage or dangerous situations (e.g., electrical or structural damage) must be reported to the TCKC Board of Directors.
15) Penalties for Off Track Misconduct:
Severe Penalties – Including theft of $200.00 or more, fighting, vandalism to
TCKC or Racer’s Property, Intoxicated while Racing/Practicing

facility, you will conduct yourself in an orderly manner any time you are on
and off the track. Any actions can be considered a violation of Probation
with a minimum of a 1 Race suspension up to a Life time Suspension.
